More catching up...

These event's are not necessarily in order but they are
what we've been up to since my last post.

3rd of July Fireworks at Granite.
(I can't believe how many people always show up
for Lenny's b-day bash!)
Abby before the fireworks....Abby during the fireworks
Jackson and cousin Jacob / Boss with Grandma Shawna

Boston fell off a chair and onto his head which caused some hemorrhaging in his brain. So we spent the night at primary children's so they could monitor him. They also put this neck brace on him because they thought he might have injured his neck too. It was pretty scary but thankfully we were able to take him home the next day and he is absolutely fine...
only he still tries to climb up on the chair!

Lenny got a year older on July 3rd! We had some ice cream cake at home just before we headed out the door for the fireworks at Granite. Not the smartest thing to do since
Boss and Abby both ended up with chocolate and
mint ice cream smeared all over their
"custom made" patriotic shirts (courtesy of Thoughts that Stick).

Thanks to the extremely long winter we got a late start getting the boat out this year. But we have been trying to make up for lost time. Lenny has been tearin' it up on the surf board and has even gotten Jackson, Abby and Boss on it with him (I only have video of their rides). Sadly I can only sit on the boat and enjoy the ride. But I still love it. I also love when the kids get so worn out or relaxed...I'm not sure which one it is or if it's a combination...that they totally crash. If I wasn't the mom making sure they were all safe I'd be doing the same thing.

The same night that we spent at Primary Children's with Boss, Jackson had his belt testing for Tae Kwon Do. It was actually the make up test since we had been out of town the week before when the scheduled test was held. So Lenny and Jackson went and Abby tagged along to watch. I remember Lenny telling me that it would be pretty quick, maybe a half hour or so...2 1/2 hours later...Jackson is able to leave with his new orange belt and the piece of wood he broke into 3 pieces. Apparently there were a lot of people who missed the originally scheduled belt testing day. I'm so glad we've found something for Jackson to get excited about besides video games though I'm sure half the reason he loves Tae Kwon Do is that he views it as a game and he loves passing a "level" to move on to the next color belt...whatever works.
