attempting to catch up - #1

So much enough has happened in the last 3 months since we brought Cutler home that there is no way I can want to catch up in 1 blog. So I am attempting to catch up over the next week or 2 (or 3 or 4...)
This is for you ANG!

We blessed Cutler in our Ward on September 28th.

Holy Crap! We are a BIG happy family!

Of course we had the family over to the house after the blessing for some yummy food and fun. I'm not sure if you can tell from this picture but it sure was a happenin' place. I think everyone is just worn out from getting so funky and crazy just before this was taken!

That same Sunday I got released from Young Womens. I didn't know I was being released until I heard them call someone new to my same calling. I had to ask Lenny if that was for sure my calling and sure enough - it was. I've been the Beehive adviser for the last 3 years. I've had such a great time in there and I can't think of a calling I'd rather have but it's definitely time for me to be done. I'm sure those girls are ready for "advise" from someone else.

Lenny was talking to Jackson one night (the topic of conversation has long been forgotten) when in response to Jackson asking Lenny how he knew something Lenny said "Don't you know? Dad's know everything." Jackson mulled this thought over for a little while - unbeknownst to Lenny - who thought they were merely moving on to the next topic of conversation. So the rest of their conversation goes like this...
Jackson: "Hey dad, I have a new game. Do you know what my favorite level is?"
Lenny: "No. How would I know that?"
Jackson: "I guess you don't know everything, do you dad?"

Cutler is Here!

Cutler Lenny Gray was born on Friday, August 1 at 2:53pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. He was 19 1/2 inches long and as you can see, he came with a full head of hair.

Mom and baby are doing great!
