Keeping up with our kids

Have you ever felt like your kids are doing something blog-worthy every day but you just can’t keep up with them? That has been the story of our kids lives for the past month…so here is my attempt to share what our kids have been doing;

Abby finished her first year at Super Start Preschool. She really loved her teachers and learned so much. She especially likes to write her name and now autographs every single picture she draws.

Just a few days after her last day of school Abby had her dance recital. It was held at Kingsbury Hall this year. They wouldn’t let us take pictures inside the venue but here she is afterwards. She was so adorable prancing around the stage with the other girls. In fact she made me, my mom and Lenny’s dad cry. After the recital we went to Litza’s Pizza to celebrate Abby's performance with yummy pizza, garlic bread and ranch dressing. (That's a good dancer diet - right?)

We went to Lagoon with Lenny’s parents. Boston was the bravest of all the kids. He would ride anything, even the haunted house ride. Jackson of course wouldn’t even look at the haunted house and Abby went through the ride but I’m not sure if she opened her eyes.

Jackson's look before just about every ride

Jackson loves the boats. I think it's the last year he'll be under the hight max. He was a little upset when I told him that. Hopefully he'll be a little more adventurous by next year.

only 12 - 14 years 'til this will really be happening!!!

Boss and Abby flyin' high...actually I don't think they ever figured out how to make it go up. But they loved it anyways.

I always get a pecan or walnut covered caramel apple on the way out of lagoon. Boss decided it should be his instead.

Jackson celebrated his 6th birthday on June 9th. It’s hard to believe our first born is already 6. He had a party with some neighborhood friends. The theme he chose was Frogger - one of the video games he has kind of been obsessed with for the last 2 years. They played ‘pin the fly on the frogs tongue,’ ‘musical lily pads,’ and had a scavenger hunt.
Later that night our families came to the house for a BBQ. We had a lot of fun and Jackson had a great day.

Jackson opening presents from friends.

This is as still as I could get all these boys to stay for a picture.

We had strawberry shortcake for the cake at the family party so we used the extra cupcakes from his friend party for him to blow the candles out on.

Some of the family that came for Jackson's birthday.

This is Jackson showing us how happy he was about his day.

Abby and her friends got a hold of somebody’s makeup and here are the results of their makeovers.

Abby, Katie, Anna, Grace, Jane

Abby was a little sad when I told her her make up was kind of scary.

I don't think I have seen your kids in awhile (except for Boston the other week). What cute cute kids. Abby is such a pretty little girl, I love the make-up! Ha. I hope you had a good birthday.

Gotta love that little Abby and her makeup. What a cutie!

Are the pictures of the party in your home. It looks awesome. I hope I can come see what you've done with it someday.

Tessie- I just realized that you are 37 weeks pregnant!! This is the week I went into labor and had Talon so be ready! Although you've done this 3 times before so you probably know your body pretty well. You better call me as soon as the little man comes! We (Talon and I) can't wait to meet him! Do you have a name for him yet?
